very cool. I'm fascinated by the tattoo design- an interesting mishmash of motifs & styles. Oh, I'd personally cut down on the breast size a bit ^_^ just cos it makes it too accessible this way. If the hair's suppossed to look wet, the effect is terrific. Oh, and the obvious (tentacles) really good. I'd say that overall, this is a sweet composition. It's phat to see B&W art being taken seriously by SOMEONE on DA. This goes straight to backround, and +fav.
well thank you very much, i appreciate the honesty as well, very good point about her breasts as well, i hadnt thought of that.
thanks all round, muchly appreciated.
cheers.
my favorite of the 4. the 3rd one has too many tentacles. the wet hair look is perfect. the shade under her arm looks a bit weird though since you blacks is strictly lineart except for that one spot. it still looks good, but i'd fix that for consistency accross the design i guess.
Loved this new method of yours.
A bit like the GTA illustrartions but in a different style.
I think that the detail level is at the exact right point! I really think you pulled it out ok and i don't have nothing bad to point to it.
I think it works ok as it is and for what it is for.
