Untitled Character Project

This was a website/branding project for a current client, but towards the end of the project we decided to go another direction. Current direction is still being decided but in the meantime wanted to share these characters as I was quite happy with how they turned out up to this point. I rarely do rounded full on characters like this, but I did enjoy the process and it got me sketching pre-vector, which has been the first time in a long time.


The idea was to have different characters/animals representing different aspects of Portland, Oregon. This all worked into the client's website to help promote a fun and unique atmosphere. Each page had it's own theme and core character along with a sub/supporting character.

Will eventually post the new direction that we took with the client.
