The Great Destroyer Landscape Version by j3concepts The Great Destroyer Landscape Version by j3concepts
Title: The Great Destroyer
Client: Soyu
Project: Creative Zodiac
Art Direction & Illustration: Jthree Concepts/Jared K. Nickerson

This is for the upcoming Crative Zodiac release by Soyu. The idea was to have an artwork based on a specific animal. I love dogs and have never actually used one in any of my design/illustration work, so it seemed fitting.
I tried to combine a number of different cultural references. including Chinese, Japanese, Egyptian, Mayan and North American.
I based the core character on my reoccurring female character; Persephone. This current iteration of her I based on an Egyptian Anubis with android-like features.

Really nice work! :D
It would be a nice wallpaper. You should make some wall pack with your art!
