Walt is sitting on a throne, behind a stack of meth. To your credit, you envisioned this image before this poster, so bravo.

To be more specific:

I knew of the reference picture before you replied to me, and recognized it immediately. I was only crediting j3concepts for the cool visualization of Walt sitting on a throne, behind him stacks of his meth. That's not something the reference picture displayed. That picture was just Walt in his dining room. j3concepts had the imagination to display Walt in this manner, before the release of the promotional poster, which is almost identical in concept and composition. Its similarity was interesting, and a testament to j3concepts' artistic foresight. I'm not saying anyone copied anyone.

He used that ref pic to make this work. The only concept behind j3's piece is the color palette and shading technique from one color to the next. The only similarity between his piece and the promo is the main character sitting in a chair...again. I say again, because the ref pic j3 used was taken by the same people who made the promo poster :p got nothing to do with foresight.

From your original post, it seemed as though you were implying something regarding the usage of his idea for their promo poster. I understand what you mean, but I think you're looking way too deep into this, bruddah lol

You're obviously not understanding what I'm saying, and thus thinking that I'm looking too deep into this. The reference picture that j3concepts used was used only for its composition. That reference picture was only of Walt sitting in his dining room, with Jr. and Skyler behind him. It had no further indication of a throne-like theme, nor did it have stacks of meth behind Walt. That was added by j3concepts, in his piece. I thought it was a creative idea, and that it visualized Walt's situation well. I liked it a lot and it stuck in my head. Later, when the new promotional poster was released, I immediately struck by its conceptual similarity and was reminded of this piece by j3concepts. NOT because of its reference picture, but for the idea of a throned man sitting behind his wealth, which is something j3concepts envisioned independent of the reference picture.

So, I then credited j3concepts for thinking of this throne idea earlier than the marketing team had. Seeing that it was thought of by professional marketing team, this was a testament to j3concepts' artistic vision, and foresight into Walt's future as a television viewer. That's all. I think YOU looked too deep into this, perhaps thinking I was accusing the poster for copying.

This entire time you have said absolutely nothing that was beyond me. Hopefully you get it now, bruddah lol
